Just watched the service and that was more enlightening and inspiring than any church service I have ever attended....thank you so much for posting. I didn't have any trouble with the video coming up on my computer.
The only thing I would say is to click the little "tv box" in the bar above "Jill Jarvis Attebery" if it doesn't work then you may need some kind of plug in.
Wow...God was glorified in the service. Jill was an amazing person. What an footprint she left in my life from a disciple now in forney,tx. May we all be an example like Jill was!
Wow! God was truly glorified in Jill's service. Thank you for sharing it with us who weren't able to attend. Also, thank you for this blog. It's been therapeutic to so many people! Y'all continue to be in my prayers.
JB and AT, Thanks for your responses. I knew it was you, Adam! As I was watching Jill's service, I kept thinking, I know that guy, I know that guy and then I realized, he was one of the SLOP LINE boys at camp. It's hard to believe how long ago that's been. I know my last time at camp was nearly 12 years ago, so it has been quite a while, Adam, even if you don't consider it "many year". :) What a funny moment in the midst of sorrow! Adam and Jonathan--you both spoke beautiful words at Jill's service. God was truly glorified. Great job!
Holy cow! Now that I think about it is has been a decade since my last year on the slop line. I retract my criticism, that does qualify as "many years ago". I think I just came to the realization that I am old.

is it just my computer, or is the video playing correctly?
I am wondering the same thing. I haven't gotten it to work yet. I am not sure if it is me or the video too.

What an incredible service! God definitely made Himself known. Thanks for posting this. May we always aspire to love and serve God as Jill did.
(Is Adam the guy that worked at Daniel Springs Baptist Encampment in Gary, Texas for several summers many years ago?)
Yep he was a "slop-line" boy!
Yes Ginger, I worked at Daniel Springs but I am not sure I would define it as "many years ago". Ha!

Thanks so much for chronicling the events of the last week. It has been such a comfort and encouragement to Jimmy and I.
We have been in continual prayer for Scott, Bryce, and all of those who were close to Jill.
It was such a privilege to be able to "attend" both the memorial service and the funeral service via video.
May the God who is rich in mercy keep our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. To God be the Glory.
