Emily was the brave one. She wanted to go back and see her so I agreed to go back with her. She was very peaceful. What a privilege to have known her. I know she wouldn't want us to be as upset as we are, but she was a special person to our family, as she was to so many. Scott is holding up amazingly well. What a testimony. I was talking to Mark Harmon about our church and the hard knocks we have taken over the past three years. He pointed out that we ought to count it as a compliment, that if we weren't doing anything substantial, we probably wouldn't be going through this.
Nonetheless...still wishing this were a dream... a bad bad dream.

Jonathan~Thank God that you and Emily are there with your love and support for Scott. I know that he will look back on this and wonder how he ever got through this without the strong shoulder of a friend like you. I know this has been a hard thing for you to endure and I pray that God's strength will keep holding you up. Love ya ~ Shan
Jonathan, Emily, and Scott- There are no words that can express my sorrow and support for you all at this time. I am glad you are there for each other. I know you will continue to pray and find comfort where real comfort truly lies, in Him. You will be in my heart and my prayers, all my love, Donya
Jonathan tell Emily I love her

Scott,
Graham and I have had you and your sweet boy in our thoughts and prayers all day long. Jill was such a woman of God and she will be missed. I will never forget the times we spent together many years ago and I thank God for having the great honor to have known her. We will continue to pray for you, your loving church family, your extended family, and everyone that knew and loved Jill.
In Christ,
Leslie Scroggins Hale
Jonathan and Emily - Thank you for keeping everyone updated. You and your church are in our prayers.
