Update at 9:45

Jill is out of surgery, and the surgery went well. She did have some internal bleeding from a nick in her liver and a hematoma inside. She is in stable condition right now, but by no means out of the woods yet. Continue to pray for them. I will pass these comments along to Scott, and he is very appreciative of your prayers and comments. They should be able to begin working on her brain situation soon, which is the main concern right now. Scott is doing amazingly well, full of hope and trust in Christ.

We are praying for Jill that she will continue to be strong and will recover quickly. We can have comfort knowing that God is in control and with him all things are possible.

We love you Bro. Scott and are in constant prayer for Jill.

Thank you so much for all of the updates. I am also one of Mrs. Attebery's students and haven't left the computer since I heard about the accident. She is a very strong woman and believes in our Lord, and I know that he is with her! Please let her family know that they are in all of our prayers!

Great news. Thanks for keeping us up to date. She is so special to all of us and not being there to see for myself is hard. Elizabeth

We heard about the accident from Stephen, his cousin; he's our Sunday school teacher. Crystal called with an update and directed me to your blog. Tell Scott we will be thinking and praying for them. Anyone who knows Jill, knows how much she loves God. There is no doubt that God will carry them through all this no matter the outcome. Continue the updates on the blog. We are glad to hear the baby and Scott are (physically) o.k. And glad to hear that the Dr.'s are working hard to help Jill. Again, we'll be praying for them and will continue to check for updates on your blog.

Praying continually! God has blessed so far and for that I praise Him. I also praise Him for the promise that He is right there with Jill, His child. I know she's not laying alone, but in the arms of a Father who loves her more than any of us could and I trust those arms to embrace and care for her the way is best. Scott, we love you dearly and are praying for your faith to be strengthened through this time and for you to feel your Fathers loving arms wrapped around you as well!!! Our God is so good.

I came to your page through a link from Thomas George's CaringBridge site. I'll be praying for Jill, that God surrounds her with competent caretakers, that he heals her of her wounds, and restores her to full health.

Philippians 3:12-14

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers (and sisters), I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do:

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to WIN the prize for which GOD has called me (Paul...Jill, & all of us) heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Love, Kim
