Humorous Stories

Jenni's comment made me think that it would be a good idea to write humorous stories about Jill and post them here.

At Adam & Kristel's wedding, Kristel's mom had bought some shoes that she wanted Kristel to wear during the wedding. Kristel was opposed to her mothers choice and put Jill and I in charge of getting rid of them while no one else was around. We took our job "seriously" and went incognito for this mission! Borrowing costumes from the choir room at a church limits your choice of characters---so being 2 of the 3 wise men had to do at the time. The shoes vanished and we were never found out........until now of course - you'll have to check out the picture of us.

Mrs. Atteberry was my clinical instructor in nursing school at SAU. We used to tease Jill that she needed pompons while lecturing... she could never stand still and was always so excited about teaching even when talking about Fluids and Electrolytes... there is almost no way to make that fun...Jill did! I started my first IV on her, went to her when I was having a hard time, and often just stopped by her office because I knew her smile would make me smile! She is an inspiration to me and all of us that she taught. One more thing... even on her power points in class... she put pictures of her dogs. I can not remember both of their names but I remember Buck...cause he only cost a dollar! She is amazing and will be missed!

I've been trying for the last few days to remember the phrase she used a lot for answering yes to lunch, or most any question she was excited about....now you have to put your arms and body into when saying it...but

"Heck yeah!"

Like I mentioned in a past blog...I first knew of Jill from ABS retreats to Gary, TX. One of things that these retreats would have was skits. I remember her doing some sort of skit as Mary Katherine Gallagher. When she first came to Wyatt, I told her how remembered her doing that..and she got a little chuckle out of that.
