We didn't know Jill and we don't know Scott. But there are many at our church in Forney, TX, who do. Yesterday many of them were sharing personal stories of Jill and Scott accompanied with frequent tears. It was such a sad story to hear and it is so very difficult to comprehend the pain that Scott and those who were close to Jill must be experiencing. At the end of the day yesterday, hearing of your loss made us circle our family in the floor of our living room. We got on our knees, joined hands and prayed for Scott and all those who are hurting because of Jill's passing...and we especially prayed for her young son. We cried and hugged each other, reflecting on the idea that life is so short and that we should hold on to each other every single day and never let a moment pass without expressing our love for each other. We also reflected on the fact that God will always be there to strengthen us in seemingly impossible moments and that He is eternally faithful, no matter the circumstance. Even though we didn't know Jill her faith had an effect on us that rippled out to the very edges of her life. Her life had a strong emotional impact on a family far away, whom she never knew. She got us to slow down and reevaluate what is truly important. We just thought you would want to know that. You are in our prayers.

Jonathan, I feel horrible asking this now, but I need to know if there will be a nursery. I'm so sorry that's so trivial at this time. My mom is out of town and I'd hate for Cass to scream or make noise through the whole service.
